The PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Course teaches students how to recognize signs of distress or unconsciousness related to oxygen deprivation and administer emergency oxygen when needed. Participants learn about the physiological effects of oxygen deprivation, maintenance and use of emergency oxygen equipment, proper techniques for administering supplemental oxygen, and safety considerations with using supplemental oxygen systems. This course is ideal for divers who want to gain additional knowledge related to providing emergency medical care during dive operations. With this certification, divers will be better prepared should a medical emergency arise.
