Your Advanced Open Water certification gives you the basic knowledge to be able to dive. You may find though that you want to do dives outside of your certification level. Deeper dives down to wrecks are always a wonderful experience. But you have to be prepared. This course does not make you an advanced diver. Rather it teaches you additional basic skills to be able to dive in additional conditions: drift diving, deep diving, night diving, and more.

About The Advanced open water Class

This class begins with PADI’s E-Learning training. During this training you will learn about all the different conditions you can dive in. Then, with your instructor, you will pick three Adventure Dives. Adventure Dives let you learn the basic skills of different specialties. In addition to these three dives, you will also do a fourth and fifth dive where you will learn to dive deep and further practice your underwater navigation skills.

Once you have picked your Adventure Dives, your instructor and you will decide where to conduct the checkout dives. Most locations can be accommodated.

This class is designed to teach you the basics of more complicated environments. You can use each one of these dives as the first dive of their respective specialty if you wish to learn advanced skills in each area.

PRICING

PADI E-Learning Training: $235.00

Training Dives: Cost will vary due to types of dives selected. All costs will be determined prior to dives.

For example: Total cost of training with two days in central Florida springs is $699. Training with one day in central Florida springs and one day offshore Jacksonville is $899, with a minimum of two students.

Gear is not included but can be rented for an additional fee.

Had a great guided dive with Matt on Rainbow River. He handled entry fees and water taxi, so all we had to do was gear up and enjoy! I rented gear from him, and the gear was in excellent shape. He is super friendly and made sure we got to check out all of the spots along the dive, pointed out animals, and also made sure we were ok along the dive. He was a very good guide. I would do another guided dive with Matt!

THE BEST! these guys have been absolutely awesome. My wife and I booked a PADI advanced course with nitrox a year ago. My wife injured herself and we postponed only to have me injury myself right before we were supposed to make up our course. They have been accommodating and so nice. They helped us get the most out of our nitrox course and e-learning and will absolutely go do our dive with them in the near future. So nice. so understanding. really here to help you learn to dive. Matt was the absolute best. From start to finish of my PADI Open Water Diver Certification and Enriched Air Diver Certification, Matt guided me through my E-Learning and in water dives making me feel confident in what I was doing the entire time. During a dive I had a painful ear issue canceling our day. Matt kept me safe by calling it, we did troubleshooting and figured out I have a swimmers ear issue and was able to complete my training the next day. He made me feel like I was taken care of and not a burden which speaks volumes about him as an instructor and the knowledge and patience he has for his students. I did the private class and highly not only recommend that but also Matt and his school.

I started this journey a year and a half ago and struggled with a different dive school/instructor. It took me that long to reach back out to someone because I was very discouraged by my previous performance even though I’m completely comfortable in the water. When I got ahold of Matt he made me feel confident in my abilities and everything literally seemed easy with him as my instructor. We were able to get extra pool time to work on what I thought I was going to have problems with and then that weekend got everything else knocked out at the springs!! Zero issues during training and I am very confident with what I learned and my abilities that I know I now have. I will be going back to him for Advanced after I have some dives under my belt and seriously highly recommend him for private lessons as that is what made me most comfortable!!
